Celebrate our journey and honour our history during the Season of Emancipation with The Long Walk.
Written and produced by Michelle Hinkson-Cox and directed by Nala, this year’s AffinityPlus Crop Over Folk Concert commemorates the Day of National Significance through music, drama and dance!
Journey through the 1937 Riots, Independence in 1966 and Barbados becoming a Republic in 2021 as three defining moments in our nation’s history are brought to life on stage.
Held on the Day of National Significance (appropriately at the Golden Square Freedom Park), the immersive cultural experience offers a powerful blend of reflection, artistry, and national pride.
