Hike Barbados: Indian Ground Playing Field

Expect a mix of quiet village roads, shaded tracks, and a few steady hills that wake up the legs in the best way. The reward: wide‑open views, breezy farmland, and that peaceful, rural Barbados feeling.

Today’s hike is known as the Richard Goddard Memorial Hike.

All morning hikes (multiple groups) start at 6:00 a.m.
Afternoon hikes (medium pace only) start at 3:30 p.m. except the special moonlight hikes which start at 6:00 p.m. You are advised to bring a torch to the moonlight hikes.

🚶🏾‍➡️ Hiking Groups
The morning hikes are broken down into the following groups.

  • Stop ‘n’ Stare (easy) typically covering 6 miles
  • Medium typically covering 8 miles
  • Brisk Medium typically covering 10 miles
  • Grin ‘n’ Bear (challenging) typically covering 12 miles

The afternoon and moonlights are one group only at medium pace.
